Oct 21, 2024FRANKFORT, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Buffalo Trace Distillery is set to receive two new steam boilers on Tuesday as part of its billion-dollar expansion project aimed at increasing bourbon production.
The distillery announced that the new boilers, each measuring approximately 38 feet long and 12 feet wide, are a significant addition to their facilities. The first boiler was scheduled to be transported to Buffalo Trace with crews around 7 a.m., while the second boiler will be moved around noon.
This expansion project underscores Buffalo Trace’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for their bourbon. The arrival of these boilers marks an important milestone in enhancing the distillery’s production capabilities.
